The Government of Guadeloupe, a French overseas territory in the Caribbean has awarded a contract to Antea France-Agence Antilles Guyane of Guadeloupe for auscultation dam monitoring of Dumanoir Dam in the commune of Capesterre Belle Eau. The contract is valued at ~US$352,875.
The bid was extended in July and in solicitation; Conseil General de la Guadeloupe sought a firm to perform monitoring of Dumanoir Dam from 2014 to 2017. The award stipulates that Antea France is to use auscultation equipment already present at the site of the water supply project, including piezometers, flow meters, pressure sensors and a weather station.
